Men's and Women's Basketball Set for "Social" Media Day Wednesday
The event will be streamed online at NEC Front Row and on ESPN3.
The Northeast Conference will hold its annual basketball "Social" Media Day on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, NY. The day's event will be streamed on NEC Front Row and ESPN3 beginning at 11:00 a.m.
CCSU head coaches, Donyell Marshall of the men's program and Beryl Piper of the women's program, will represent the Blue Devils along with a student-athlete from each team.

The 2016-17 pre-season polls and pre-season All-NEC teams will also be released prior to the start of the webcast. Fans can interact with the media day, using the hashtag #NECinNYC, and can submit questions for the coaches and student-athletes via Twitter. CCSU is scheduled to go live with their interviews at 11:52 a.m for the women and 1:09 p.m. for the men.
The CCSU men will hold an exhibition game open to the public, for free, against Alvernia on Friday, Nov. 4. The regular season opens against Hartford on Friday, Nov. 11, in Detrick Gymnasium.
The CCSU women open the regular season at Dartmouth on Friday, Nov. 11. The Blue Devils have their home-opener on Wednesday, Nov. 16, against Hartford.
