Asia Bolling Named to Division I All-New England Football Team
Junior led the Blue Devils in tackles for a loss in 2015
Junior defensive end Asia Bolling was named to the Division I All-New England Football Team on Tuesday, it was announced by the New England Football Writers' Association. Bolling was a First Team All-Northeast Conference selection this season for the Blue Devils.
Bolling finished the 2015 season second in the NEC in tackles for a loss with 14.5 on the year. He was fifth on the team in total tackles with 64, including 4.5 sacks, which placed him in the top-10 in the NEC. He was second on the team in that category.
Bolling total tackles were good for 17th in the NEC. His 14.5 tackles for a loss rank 30th in the country at the FCS level.
In 2015 Bolling had 21 solo tackles and 43 assisted stops. He also forced a pair of fumbles, recovered one fumble and had a pair of pass break-ups.
