Women's Cross Country Grabs Three All-NEC Selections, Two All-Rookie
After finishing runners-up at the Northeast Conference Championship, the Central Connecticut women's cross country team had three runners selected to the All-NEC teams and two named to the All-Rookie team.
After finishing runners-up at the Northeast Conference Championship, the Central Connecticut women's cross country team had three runners selected to the All-NEC teams and two named to the All-Rookie team.
The All-Conference teams are made up of the first 14 runners to cross the finish line at the NEC Championship and All-Rookie teams are comprised of the top 7 rookie finishers. CCSU had three finishers in the top 14, and an honorable mention Rebecca Carusone finished 15th (19:28.10). The Blue Devils finished with a final score of 45.
The All-NEC team is comprised of Maegan Desmarais (seventh place - 18:56.10), Juliana Cancellieri (11th place - 19:09.20), and Mya Morabito (13th place - 119:12.40). Morabito and Isabelle Mondo (23rd place – 19:53.50) were both named to the NEC All-Rookie team.
