2019 Central Connecticut Men's Cross Country News

CCSU student-athletes posted an average GPA of 3.24 during the 2020 spring semester.

With the abrupt end of the spring athletic season and the subsequent cancelation of our annual awards banquet, CCSU athletics would like to celebrate and recognize our seniors online and on social media with our #CCSUSeniorDay.

Both teams had a cumulative GPA over a 3.0.

CCSU was the 2019 NEC Runner-Up

The Blue Devils finished ninth out of 16 teams.

Three runners posted personal best times in the 10K race.

Roberto Piotto was the first place finisher.

CCSU will host in the 2019 NEC Championships this Saturday.

Due to damage and downed trees in the park area from the weather this week, Stanley Quarter Park will not be available for parking. Fans are advised to park in the Welte Garage on campus and walk over to the race area.

Roberto Piotto finished first overall in the men's varsity 5K.

Piotto and Field swept the NEC awards for the second time this season.

The 12 kilometer mountain run will be hosted in Tepatitlan, Guadalajara, Mexico.

Roberto Piotto placed third in the men's 8K race.
