Former Blue Devil great helped Panthers to 22-1 record this season
Former Central Connecticut women's lacrosse standout Alice Lee helped lead the Middlebury College women's lacrosse team to the 2016 Division III National Championship this spring. Lee and the Panthers finished the 2016 season with a 22-1 record and won their sixth NCAA title. Prior to joining the staff at Middlebury in 2015, Lee spent four seasons on the staff at Amherst.
Lee's name is still prominent in the CCSU women's lacrosse record book, seven years after she last played for the Blue Devils. Lee graduated from CCSU in 2009.
Lee is first in school history in career saves (651), more than 140 saves ahead of the second place goalkeeper. Her save percentage of .515 is first in school history. Lee is second all-time in school history in career appearances (50), as well as career starts (44). She played 2,686 minutes from 2006-09, the third most in school history.
Lee holds the single-game record for saves making an incredible 29 saves in a game vs. Robert Morris during the 2007 season.
Lee also sits atop two of the major single-season records for the Blue Devils. She is first in single season saves (236) in 2009 and first in single season save percentage (.577) in 2007. Her save percentage in 2007 led all of Division I.
