Junior Lucie Sarochova shot an 83 on the par 72 Great River Golf Course in Milford, CT to lead CCSU. She is tied for ninth in the 51-player field. As a team, the Blue Devils shot 385. The host Pioneers have a 12-stroke lead over Brown after posting a 318 team total. Sacred Heart senior Joanne Martorana is in the lead after shooting 76. She is one of three Pioneer golfers in the top five.

Sarochova had 10 pars to spark her round. Senior Deborah Kim added a 91, while sophomore Chelsea Woods posted a 98. Junior Lisa McCormick (113) and sophomore Jennie Dyson (115) completed the CCSU scores.
Martorana is two shots ahead of her freshman teammate Michelle Riber. Carly Bergin, another SHU freshman, is in a four-way tie for third at 79.
Final round play begins tomorrow morning.
