Kim Voted Second Team All-Northeast Conference

Central Connecticut senior women's golfer Deborah Kim collected her second career All-Northeast Conference selection, as announced by the league office this afternoon. Kim, who tied for 10th at the NEC Women's Golf Championships this season, was a second team honoree. She shot 80, 81 and a season-low 77 over the three-day conference tournament on the Hershey Links in Hershey, PA.

Blue Devils End Season with Dual Match Win Over SFNY, Kim Earns Medalist Honors

Central Connecticut ended its season with a dual match victory over St. Francis (NY) at the par 72, 6,107 yard Stanley Golf Course in New Britain, CT. The Blue Devils won, 360-366, behind a medalist performance from senior Deborah Kim. Kim posted an 88 in her final collegiate entry.

Kim Ties for 10th at NEC Women's Golf Championships, Blue Devils Place Seventh

Senior Deborah Kim recorded her second career top-10 finish at the Northeast Conference Women's Golf Championships. She shot a final round 77 on the par 72 Hershey Links in Hershey, PA to move up five places on the individual leaderboard. As a team, the Blue Devils maintained their seventh place standing. They shot a final round 335, their lowest score of the event, and finished at 1,028 (340-353-335).

Blue Devils Maintain Seventh Place Slot at NEC Women's Golf Championships, Kim in 15th

Central Connecticut senior Deborah Kim shot an 81 in day two action at the Northeast Conference Women's Golf Championships on the par 72 Hershey Links in Hershey, PA. With a two-day total of 161, Kim is in 15th place on the individual leaderboard. CCSU maintained its seventh place standing on the team leaderboard. The Blue Devils posted a 353 total and have a two-day 693. Third and final round play will begin tomorrow at 12:30 p.m.

Kim Tied for Ninth Following Day One Play at Northeast Conference Championships, Blue Devils in Seventh

Central Connecticut opened up play at the Northeast Conference Women's Golf Championships with a 340 team total. Senior Deborah Kim paced the Blue Devils with an 80 on the par 72 Hershey Links in Hershey, PA. She is tied for ninth heading into second round play. CCSU sits in seventh place on the 10-team leaderboard. Round two of the three-day event will begin at 8 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, Apr. 25.

Kim Ties for Sixth at Hartford Spring Invitational, CCSU Finishes Sixth

Central Connecticut senior Deborah Kim tied for sixth at the Hartford Spring Invitational. She shot a second-day 83 to post a 165 at the Rockledge Golf Course in West Hartford, CT. As a team, the Blue Devils placed sixth. They shot 361 this afternoon, totaling a 720 over the two rounds.

Senior Deborah Kim shot an 82 to lead Central Connecticut in opening round play at the Hartford Spring Invitational on the par 72 Rockledge Golf Course in West Hartford, CT. Kim is in sixth place on the individual leaderboard. As a team, the Blue Devils posted a 359 total. They are in sixth place.

Kim Ties for Third at CCSU Tri-Match

Senior Deborah Kim led Central Connecticut with an 83 in the CCSU Tri-Match at the par 71 Wethersfield Country Club. The Blue Devils hosted Sacred Heart and Fairfield in the one-day, 18-hole event. Sacred Heart won the team title with a 332 total.

Women's Golf Tri-Match at Wethersfield Country Club Washed Out

Central Connecticut's tri-match with Hartford and Boston University at Wethersfield Country Club was stopped less than nine holes in due to poor weather conditions. The Blue Devils are scheduled to host another tri-match at Wethersfield CC next Saturday, Apr. 18. They will welcome Fairfield and Sacred Heart for the 18-hole event.

Women's Golf Finishes Play at Mount St. Mary's Spring Invitational, Kim Places 15th

Central Connecticut concluded play at the Mount St. Mary's Spring Invitational with 18 holes today on the par 72 Quail Valley Golf Course in Littlestown, PA. The Blue Devils finished ninth in their first action of the spring season. Senior Deborah Kim shot a final round 82 to earn a 15th place finish on the individual leaderboard.

Kim Shoots 80-83 to Lead Blue Devils Through Opening 36 Holes of Mount St. Mary's Spring Invitational

Senior Deborah Kim shot 80-83 to pace Central Connecticut at the Mount St. Mary's Invitational. The Blue Devils opened their spring season with 36 holes on the par 72 Quail Valley Golf Course in Littlestown, PA. CCSU is currently in ninth place on the team leaderboard. Play will finish with 18 holes tomorrow.

Central Connecticut Women's Golf Picked Fifth in Northeast Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll

Central Connecticut's women's golf team was slotted fifth in the Northeast Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll released this afternoon. The Blue Devils, who finished tied for fourth at last season's NEC Championships, will be led this spring by senior captain Deborah Kim. Kim averaged an 83.3 over eight rounds this past fall after a 22nd place showing in last season's league championship.

Central Connecticut Jumps One Spot at Sacred Heart Fall Classic, Sarochova Finishes 12th

Central Connecticut shot 28 strokes better in final round action at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic, helping the Blue Devils jump up to seventh place in the team standings. The Blue Devils shot a second-day 357 for a 742 total. Junior Lucie Sarochova shot her second straight 83 on the Great River Golf Course in Milford, CT. She finished 12th to lead CCSU. Senior Deborah Kim, who opened with a 91, also shot a final round 83 for the Blue Devils. She placed 23rd in the 51-player field. Sacred Heart (318-321) won the team title behind three top-five performances. Freshman Carly Bergin vaulted past senior teammate Joanne Martorana to earn medalist honors. Bergin shot 79-75, while Martorana finished third after carding rounds of 76 and 82.

Sarochova Shoots 83 in First Round Play at Sacred Heart Fall Classic

Playing in their final tournament of the fall season, Central Connecticut sits in eighth place following first round play at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic. Junior Lucie Sarochova shot an 83 on the par 72 Great River Golf Course in Milford, CT to lead CCSU. She is tied for ninth in the 51-player field. As a team, the Blue Devils shot 385. The host Pioneers have a 12-stroke lead over Brown after posting a 318 team total. Sacred Heart senior Joanne Martorana is in the lead after shooting 76. She is one of three Pioneer golfers in the top five.

Blue Devils Finish 13th at Rutgers, Sarochova and Kim Lead CCSU

Led by junior Lucie Sarochova and senior Deborah Kim, Central Connecticut finished 13th at the Rutgers Women's Invitational. Sarochova shot a final round 80 on the par 72 Rutgers Golf Course to post a two-day 164 and finish a shot in front of Kim. Kim shot 83-82 for the Blue Devils, who carded team totals of 344 and 343. Boston College collected the team title with rounds of 319 and 310. Lehigh, which held the day one lead, finished second after shooting 317-316. Junior Livia Smado highlighted the Mountain Hawk second place effort with medalist honors. She shot 74-73.

Kim Shoots 83 to Lead Blue Devils in Day One Action at Rutgers

Central Connecticut senior Deborah Kim shot a team-best 83 in day one action at the Rutgers Women's Invitational. Kim shot 42-41 on the par 72, 6,074 yard Rutgers Golf Course. She is tied for 28th. As a team, the Blue Devils at in 14th place after posting a 344. Lehigh leads a tightly bunched top four with a 317. Final round play begins tomorrow at 9 a.m.
