Allan Jeanne-Rose Earns NEC Player Of The Week
Averaged 24 points, 7.0 rebounds in helping propel Blue Devils to top of NEC standings
Allan Jeanne-Rose was named the Northeast Conference Men's Basketball co-Player of the Week on Monday after leading the Blue Devils to the top of the NEC standings with wins over Saint Francis and Merrimack.

Jeanne-Rose averaged 24 points and 7.0 rebounds in 33.8 minutes of action in the two games. He made 50 percent, 18-36, of his field goal attempts in the two games and was 11-13 (84.6 percent) from the free throw line.
In the battle of unbeatens on Monday, Jeanne-Rose finished with 24 points, eight rebounds, two steals and an assist in a home win over Merrimack. He jumpstarted the win by scoring the first four points of the game and finished the first half 6-8 from the floor as CCSU never trailed in the game. Late in the second half when Merrimack closed to within a possession, Jeanne-Rose sealed the victory by going 4-4 from the free throw line in the final 15 seconds. In a road win at Saint Francis, Jeanne-Rose shot 5-8 in the second-half as the Blue Devils erased a four-point halftime deficit.
Jeanne-Rose is averaging a league-best 23.3 points in NEC games, shooting 53.1 percent (36-49) from the field in those three games. The grad transfer also ranks sixth in NEC action with 7.3 rebounds a game, is averaging 1.3 steals and 1.7 offensive rebounds per game against league foes. For the year, Jeanne-Rose is the second leading scorer in the NEC, at 16.4 points per game and is 12th with 4.8 rebounds an outing.
