Volleyball Drops 3-0 Decision at Long Island on Saturday Afternoon
The Central Connecticut volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision on the road at Long Island on Saturday. With the loss the Blue Devils drop to 5-13 overall and 2-4 in Northeast Conference action. They return to action on Sunday at Sacred Heart beginning at 1 p.m.

Vaughan led the offensive attack for the Blue Devils with a
team-high seven kills. Sara Delacey and Emily
Cochran each added six.
Senior Amanda
Bayer had 24 assists in the match. Long Island won a close
first set, 25-23, and went on the win the match with scores of
25-17 and 15-13 in the final two sets.
Jamie
Rademacher had five kills to go along with three block
assists. Central had six blocks in the match. Bayer had 14 digs
to lead the defense. Senior Kaitlin
Petrella added 13.
The Blue Devils return to action on Sunday at Sacred Heart
beginning at 1 p.m.
