Men's Track in Split Squad Action on Saturday
The Central Connecticut men's track team competed in split squad action on Saturday. Most of the runners were at Holy Cross, but sophomore Aaron Radden, Junior Rashad Williams and sophomore Mohamed Hrezi went to Louisiana State University. Sophomore Nick Lindblom led the squad at Holy Cross as he captured the 110 and 400 meter hurdle titles. The Blue Devils finished third at the Holy Cross meet.

Lindblom won both the 110 and 400 in times of 15.39 and 56.22, respectively. Joining Lindblom with event victories were junior Jeremy Schmid and sophomore Mike Waterbury. Schmid won the 1500 meters in 3:59.49, and Waterbury won the 800 meters in 1:56.16.
The Central men scored an impressive 123 points to earn the third place finish.
At LSU Radden posted fast times in both the 100 and 200 meter events. He sprinted to a 10.5 time in the 100 and a 21.09 in the 200. Williams produced a solid performance in the shot put with a 53 foot toss. Hrezi rounded out the group with a 1:55 in the 800 meters.
