Men's Track Finishes Indoor Season at IC4As
The Central Connecticut men's track and field team finished their indoor season this weekend as they competed in the IC4A Championships in Boston, MA. Junior R.J. Simeone set a personal record in the 500 meters, placing 20th with a time of 1:04.26.

Sean Smith, Ry Sanderson and Matt Berube also competed in the meet as individuals, while Matthew Whalen, Simeone, Robert Weston and Dan Watson ran in the 4x800 meter relay for CCSU. Smith placed 21st in the 400 meters, crossing the line in 49.35 seconds, while Sanderson finished the 5,000 meters in 14:53.23 to place 26th. Berube was 25th in the long jump, recording a mark of 6.4 meters. The relay team took 22nd timing in at 7:58.85.
The CCSU track and field team will begin the outdoor season at
Walt Disney World's Wide World of Sports Complex on the weekend of
March 20-21.
