CCSU Finishes 16th at C&F Bank Intercollegiate
The Central Connecticut State University men's golf team finished competition at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate on Tuesday, tying for 16th place out of 22 teams. Freshman Dan Fanion led the Blue Devils in the second straight tournament of 2010 with a three over par 145 to tie for 10th place overall.

CCSU shot 313 as a team after a score of 299 in round one action.
The Blue Devils tied Binghamton for 16th place with a total of 612,
while Missouri took the team title recording a mark of 575 in the
two rounds at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, VA.
Junior Justin Hughes, who recorded
Central's best score on Monday, finished in 82 on Tuesday to tie
for 55th with a total of 152. Fellow junior Eric Hawerchuk finished
four strokes back of Hughes, finishing in 78 for the second
straight day to tie for 78th with a score of 156.
Sophomores Greg Beloin and Kevin Josephson
rounded out the Blue Devils in the tournament. Beloin shot 80 for
the second round in a row to tie for 103rd, while Josephson
finished Tuesday's round in 83. Josephson totaled a score of 161
for the tournament, placing 105th.
Central Connecticut will next come back to the Nutmeg State to
compete in the Yale Spring Invitational on Saturday April 3.
