2011-12: Named Northeast Conference Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 8...Placed in the top three in all seven of her events at the NEC Championships: Finished first for the third consecutive year in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:53.71...Took first place in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:50.20...Helped the 800 yard freestyle relay team earn second place with a time of 7:25.80...Placed second in the 1,650 yard freestyle with a time of 17:10.66...Helped the 400 yard medley relay team earn second place with a time of 3:52.19...Helped Central earn second place in the 400 freestyle relay and third in the 200 freestyle relay with times of 3:27.40 and 1:36.32, respectively...Achieved several other top performances throughout regular-season meets.

2010-11: Earned gold in the 500 freestyle for the second consecutive year at the NEC Championships…Captured a silver medal in the 100 and 200 freestyle events.

2009-10: Won the 200, 500 and 1,650 freestyle events at the NEC Championships as a freshman…Also helped the Blue Devils 800 free relay team earn gold and to a silver medal relay…Named NEC Co-Outstanding Swimmer and Rookie for her performance at the meet...Set NEC record for the 500 free, 4:52.56…Earned NEC Swimmer of the Week honors, Jan. 12.

Before Central: Comes to New Britain as one of the first ever Connecticut State Open Champions to join the Blue Devils. A USA Junior National qualifier, Friedmann can swim and score in many events at the conference level and will greatly impact the championship meets.
