Men's Cross Country Takes Fourth at New England Championships

RESULTS

The Central Connecticut men's cross-country team captured fourth at the New England Championships on Saturday in Boston, Massachusetts with a team total of 127 points. The Blue Devils had three finishers in the top 17 including James Sullivan who finished third. 

KEY PERFORMANCES 

  • Sullivan was the first Blue Devil to cross the finish line this weekend, taking third place with a time of 24:44. 

  • Yankarlos Diaz was just over 30 seconds behind, taking 13th place with a time of 25:16. Jake Ireland followed closely with a time of 25:20, securing 17th place. 

  • Tim Lautenbach finished 38th (25:54), followed by Mark Rodriguez in 56th (26:12), Salvatore Masciarelli in 57th(26:16), and Elias Field in 60th(26:23). 

UP NEXT 

  • The Blue Devils will host their CCSU Mini Meet on October 21st at Stanley Park in New Britain, CT.
