Men's Cross Country Wins Ted Owen Title Paced By Sullivan Victory
The Blue Devils had the top-three individual finishers in the race

The Central Connecticut men's cross-country team captured the team crown at the Ted Owen Invitational with a team total of 33 points. The Blue Devils had the three top finishers in the race, paced by the collegiate winner, James Sullivan.
KEY PERFORMANCES
- Sullivan set the early pace and led or was in the lead pack for the entire race, crossing the finish line in a time of 25:29
- Sullivan has now won both individual races the Blue Devils have taken part in this fall
- Jake Ireland was the runner-up stopping the clock at 25:52, just three seconds in front of teammate Yankarlos Diaz
- Tim Lautenbach ran 26:41 for a 12th place finish and Elias Field crossed 15th with a run of 26:51 rounded out the top-five finishers for CCSU
