Nicholas Wins Athlete of the Week, Sullivan Named Rookie of the Week

 After leading men's cross country to second place last Friday, Eddie Nicholas and James Sullivan were recognized by the Northeast Conference as Athlete and Rookie of the Week, respectively.

At the CCSU Mini Meet last Friday, Nicholas led the charge for CCSU and placed fourth overall in the men's 5K with a time of 14:58.7.

Nicholas has enjoyed a successful regular season for CCSU, placing first overall at the Ted Owen Invitational and had another fourth place finish at the Marist Invitational to start the season.

Sullivan placed tenth in Friday's 5K. That marked Sullivan's third top ten finish of the season, placing eighth at the Marist Invitational and fourth at the Ted Owen Invitational.

Nicholas and Sullivan will both be looking to keep the success going this weekend when the Blue Devils host the Northeast Conference Championships. The men's team has finished second in back-to-back Championships heading into Saturday's race.
