Bio

Don Hanni enters his second season with the Blue Devils in 2012.  After serving as academic coordinator his first year, Hanni will coach the defensive line this season and will assist with special teams.

Hanni is a 2011 graduate of Norwich University where he served as a four-year starter on the offensive line.

Hanni and his fellow Norwich offensive lineman were the recipients of the Coach Mike Yesalonia Team MVP Award following the 2010 season. The unit blocked for the nation's sixth-ranked rushing attack and helped junior RB Andrew Fulford break the 1,000-yard plateau.

Hanni was an integral part of a unit that blocked for 3,000-plus rushing yards in both 2009 and 2010, giving up only 14 quarterback sacks over the same span.

Hanni was named a second team All-Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) lineman in 2010. He received honorable mention from the circuit in 2009. He served as a team tri-captain during his senior campaign.

Hanni is a native of Youngstown, OH and was an All-State lineman at Ursuline High School.
