The Central Connecticut volleyball team will face LIU Brooklyn for the Northeast Conference championship on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 3:00 p.m. CCSU earned a share of the league's regular season title, along with LIU Brooklyn and Bryant, and will be the three seed for the championship. The Blackbirds are the top seed and host of the tournament.

NEC Co-Champions
CCSU earned a share of the regular-season title with an 11-3 NEC mark. It was the Blue Devils' first league title since 2003 when they tied with UMBC and Robert Morris.
Massicotte Digs It
Lindsey Massicotte is putting her name in the CCSU record books as the libero. Her 534 digs rank 2nd on the single-season list at CCSU. She has broken the CCSU single-match dig mark three times, most recently with a 46-dig outing at Saint Francis U. That total matches the NEC mark and ranks 11th on the NCAA all-time chart.
Smith Tops NEC Charts
Senior
Maddie Smith is having a strong campaign. Her .399 hitting percentage leads the league. She also tops the NEC with 1.46 blocks/set. Her total of 146 ranks fourth on the CCSU single-season list and her 14 blocks vs. Sacred Heart (11/3) matched a school record and is one off the NCAA high this season.
Blue Devils Do It All
Central is displaying a strong all-around game this season. In all matches, CCSU paces the league with a .195 hitting percentage. Defensively, Central is holding opponents to a .158 hitting percentage, also a league best. CCSU leads the NEC, by far, with 2.68 blocks/set.
CCSU Digs It
Central averages 16.98 digs/set as a team and has posted three of the top-five single match totals in school history. CCSU had 107 digs at SFU (11/10), which is 3rd-most. Central had 103 vs. Niagara (9/8) and 102 at RMU (11/11) to rank 4th and 5th-most in a single-match in school history.
