Her goal against Stonehill also came early in the game when in the ninth minute she stole a back pass just inside midfield. She beat a Stonehill defender and dribbled by the keeper, before sliding the ball across the goal mouth. The Tomkins Cove, NY native currently ranks tied for third amongst NEC leaders in total goals (3) and total points (8).
Horgan scored the Blue Devils' fifth goal against Stonehill in the 66th minute when Brady dribbled down the sideline and slid the ball forward to Horgan. Horgan then tucked the ball into the net between the goalkeeper and the post.
Caitlin Murphy, along with the help of the Blue Devils backline, recorded back-to-back shutouts this week. Murphy made four saves against Stonehill and five saves against Wagner.
