Radden Wins 100, 200 as Central Competes at Holy Cross
Freshman Aaron Radden led Central Connecticut to a third place finish at Holy Cross on Tuesday, winning both the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Radden recorded times of 10.67 and 22.14 seconds in the two events, respectively. CCSU scored 72.50 team points to place third out of five team in competition in Worcester, MA.

Radden led Central Connecticut to a third place finish at Holy
Cross on Tuesday, winning both the 100 and 200 meter dashes.
Radden recorded times of 10.67 and 22.14 seconds in the two events,
respectively. CCSU scored 72.50 team points to place third out of
five team in competition in Worcester, MA.
Radden was also a member of the Blue Devils' 4x100 meter relay team
that placed first. He was joined by freshman Keith Boyd-Carter and
juniors Harry
Lewis and Josue Paul, who crossed the
line in 42.02 second for the win. Paul also ran an 11.01 second
100 meter dash to place third.
Three Blue Devils recorded top five finishes in the 5,000 meter run
on Tuesday. Sophomore Jeremy Schmid led the way,
placing third in a time of 15:05.84. Sophomore Sam
Alexander and senior Ry Sanderson took third and
fifth place with times of 15:06.33 and 15:08.53, respectively.
Sophomores Michael Waterbury, Rashad
Williams and Nick Trifone, as well as
senior Clinton DePaolo also
finished in the top five in their respective events at Holy Cross.
Waterbury recorded a time of 1:59.18 to place fifth in the 800
meters, while Williams took fourth in the discus with a mark of
140'1". Trifone placed fourth in the high jump with a height of
6'4.25", while DePaolo was fifth in the 110 meter hurdles (15.51
seconds).
The Blue Devils will next compete at the Yale Invitational on April
25 before heading to the Northeast Conference Championships on May
1 and 2.
