The Central Connecticut State football team will honor it senior class prior to the final game of the campaign on Saturday, November 18th. The Blue Devils will welcome Northeast Conference member Saint Francis to Arute Field for a 12:00 pm game. Senior day ceremonies will begin at 11:40 am.
The Blue Devils will honor 13 student-athletes before the game : Tyler Boatwright, Braxton Cassidy, Jadd Dolegala, Naj Johnson, Davion Johnson, Shayne Manson, Jordin Martell, Tavian Montgomery, Mason Schloop, Reis Spicer, Malik Thomas, Luquay Washington, and Paul Yiadom.

Elijah Howard is 56 yards shy of becoming the 17th Blue Devil to rush for 1,000 yards in a single-season. Nasir Smith (1,219) accomplished the feat last season, ending a five-year drought since it was last accomplished in 2017 (Cameron Nash). Howard 944 yards on the ground is second in the NEC and 14th in the nation.

Jack Barnum tied the single-season school record for field goals made last week with his 13th. He is currently tied with Paul Flynn who made 13 field goals during the 1987 season.
• CCSU ranks first in the league at 195.4 yards rushing, good for 18th nationally
• The red zone defense is 28th in the NCAA at .750, holding opponents scoreless on 10-40 red zone visits. The Blue Devils have scored 28-34 times the offense has been in the red zone, with 21 touchdowns
• CCSU has held opponents out of the end zone for an entire game this season, blanking AIC (44-0) and defeating Wagner (17-3)
• The Blue Devils ran for 223 yards against SHU, the fourth game this season over 200 yards as a team, with the highwater mark of 498 coming in the win over Delaware State
• The Blue Devils defense is averaging 2.1 sacks per game, second in the league and 46th in the FCS.
Dan Toatley is the team leader at 0.5 sacks per game, while
Malachi Wright averages 0..39 sacks/game. The duo are second and third in the NEC respectively.

Isiah Williams has made at least two catches in each of the last six games he played, with five for 130 yards in the last two outings. He leads the team with 36 receptions, 478 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns. He had an 81-yard TD catch versus LIU, and is second in the NEC with five catches that resulted in scores. Williams leads the team with 33 catches, third in the NEC, and 455 receiving yards, sixth in the league. Williams is also averaging 20.1 yards per KO return, with a long of 46 and is second on the roster at 78.9 APY a game, eighth in the NEC.

Elijah Howard is tops in the NEC, and 40th nationally with his 6.25 yards per carry. That has propelled him to 94.4 yards per game, which is second in the league and 18th nationally. Howard is averaging 125.6 APY a contest, third in the NEC and 16th in FCS. Howard now has three touchdown runs of 70 or more yards this fall, going 82 at Brown and 80 versus Delaware State.
• CCSU is third in the NEC in scoring, averaging 26.3 points/game, and fifth in scoring defense allowing 29.4 points/game. SFU scores 24.8 points/game, and allows 27.8, both fourth in the NEC.

Kimal Clark has 20 tackles in the last two games he played and his 74 tackles leads the team and ranks fifth in the NEC. He has three games with 10 or more stops, with a career-high 13 at Kent State. Clark also leads the team with two interceptions, and ranks 45th in the NCAA at 0.3 INTs a contest. Both his picks came in the same game, Wagner.

Matt Jenner had his best day as a Blue Devil at Wagner going 20-29 for 236 yards and two touchdown strikes and earned NEC Prime Performer. He has completed 11 or more passes in each of the last five games, going 73-122 for 8357 yards and seven touchdowns in that stretch. Jenner made his first CCSU start at Kent State on September 16th.

Dan Toatley has recorded a TFL in eight games this season, with 2.0 TFL in three games. He had 1.5 TFL at Merrimack. Toatley has made 46 tackles
• Blue Devil quarterbacks have completed 57.1% of passes this season, 140-245, second in the league. In NEC games only, the Blue Devils are completing passes at a 58.9 percent clip, the best number in the league.

Eric Jackson had five tackles, a career-best, at Merrimack. He made four solo stops in the game and recorded two TFL's. He has made seven tackles in his rookie season.

Ahmad Craig gave the Blue Devils their first defensive TD of the year, recovering a fumble and scoring from 13 yards out. He has made 27 tackles this season, with 4.0 TFL and two sacks.
