Bio

George Kostelis was named an assistant coach at Central Connecticut on July 6, 2022 (read more). Kostelis comes to CCSU with a broad background as both a coach at all levels and as a former professional player. He was inducted into the Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame in 2022.

Kostelis graduated from the University of Hartford in 1993 with a degree in Human Services. He earned a Master's of Science in Physical Education from CCSU in 2017. He holds a USSF A License and is a member of United Soccer Coaches and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

A native of West Hartford, Kostelis resides in Burlington with his wife.
