Men's Soccer Drops at Mercyhurst
The Central Connecticut men's soccer team fell at Mercyhurst, 3-1 on Sunday in NEC action. All four goals in the contest came in the second half of play.

KEY MOMENTS
- The teams played a scoreless opening half and were tied, 6-6, in shots. The Lakers opened the scoring in the 53rd minute after Alvar Silva chipped a ball over the defense that Santiago Giraldo ran onto and kicked in.
- The pair connected for the second goal nearly 10 minutes later. Silva chipped a pass to Giraldo, who settled the ball and put his shot past the goalkeeper to the near post.
- The Lakers tacked on a goal 30 seconds later when Aiden Williams McCracken ran onto a long pass from Santiago Bustamante. McCracken would rip a shot with his left foot to make it a three-goal lead.
- The Blue Devils got a goal back in the 78th minute when Colin Wright took a free kick from 20 yards out. He would swing his kick into the area where Diego Canellas headed to the far post to make it 3-1.
