Howard moves into eighth all-time in rushing at CCSU
The Central Connecticut State football team opened the 2025 campaign in East Hartford, falling 59-13 Saturday afternoon.
The Blue Devils opened the scoring, on a two-yard Elijah Howard rush 126 seconds into the game. The Huskies scored on the next four possessions of the game.

- The Blue Devils converted early, after a bad snap by UConn gave CCSU the ball on the Huskies five-yard line
