Blue Devils Soccer Teams Join In "Read Across America" Day
Teams visited local New Britain elementary school to read with students.
Members of the Central Connecticut men's and women's soccer teams took part in National "Read Across America" Day on Wednesday. The teams visited Gaffney Elementary School in New Britain to join students for the reading celebration taking place around the country.
"It is always fun for our players to spend time with young children," said Mick D'Arcy, head coach of the women's soccer team. "The opportunity to share their joy for reading is an added bonus."
