Snoddy Earns NEC Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Freshman Andre Snoddy of the Central Connecticut men's basketball squad was named Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week on Wednesday. Snoddy earned the honor for the third time this season following his first caree double-double last weekend.
Snoddy claimed his second straight NEC Rookie of the Week accolade and after he contributed 12.0 points and 8.0 rebounds, while hitting at a 57.9 percent clip from the floor. He set career-highs with 18 points and 10 rebounds at LIU to post his first double-double. He also made his first five shots of the game against the Sharks.
Snoddy ranks sixth in the league and is the top freshman, grabbing 6.8 rebounds per game. He scores 7.6 points per game and is shooting at a 48.7 percent clip.
The Blue Devils return to action on Friday night at Saint Francis U. The game will be on ESPN+.
