Arian Dehnavi Set to Join Men's Basketball Program
Central Connecticut head men's basketball coach Patrick Sellers has announced the addition of Arian Dehnavi to the program for the 2021-22 season. Dehnavi becomes the seventh newcomer to join the Blue Devils roster since Sellers' hiring.
Dehnavi is a 6-foot-10 center from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He attended one of the top schools in the province, Jean-de-Brébeuf College. During his senior season at Brébeuf, Dehnavi averaged 11.5 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks, while shooting 58.3 percent from the field.
"We are ecstatic to welcome Arian to the Central Connecticut basketball culture," said Sellers. "He brings a hard-nosed style of play along with a great feel for the game to our program. He plays with a high motor and the ability to energize our team daily."
