Sophomore quarterback Jacob Dolegala was named the Northeast Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, it was announced by the NEC office.
Dolegala became the first Blue Devil quarterback to throw for over 300 yards in a single game since the 2013 season as he completed 25-of-39 passes for a career-high 341 yards and a touchdown last Saturday in a road loss at Penn.

K.J. Smith in the first half was the longest play from scrimmage for the Blue Devils this season. Dolegala completed four passes for 120 yards to Smith, and found seven different receivers on the day, all catching at least three passes. He completed 13 passes for first downs in the game, and averaged 8.7 yards per attempt and 13.6 yards per completion on the afternoon.
For the season he is now 115-of-186 (61.8%) for 1,208 yards and six touchdowns while throwing just three interceptions.
