KEY MOMENTS
- Central held an early 8-7 lead in the opening set after a kill by Mia Lombardo. The Sharks came back with four straight points and forced a CCSU timeout. The run extended to five straight before the Blue Devils would interrupt the run, but LIU would hold the lead throughout the set. Central was unable to get closer than two points the remainder of the frame.
- LIU opened the second set with four straight points before a kill by Stela Velinova got CCSU on the board. That was as close as Central would manage to get in the set, however, as LIU would extend its lead to as much as 23-10 to take control of the match.
- Kills by Weronika Poczynek and Lauren Milani opened a lead for CCSU to begin the third set. The Blue Devils would push the lead to as much as 11-7 before LIU rallied to draw even with four straight points. Central held a 12-11 lead, but the Sharks would rattle off four straight points and regain the lead. A block by Velinova and Poczynek got the Blue Devils within, 22-20, but the Sharks would score the final three points to settle the match.

2 - Central was limited to one service ace on Saturday and recorded just two in a pair of matches with LIU this season.
NOTES
- LIU won both matchups this season and has won three straight in the series.
- Milani had a team-high eight kills in the match.
- Natalie Novak had 13 assists and seven digs, while Tori Boulay had 10 assists and eight digs.
- Isabelle Roufs had two total blocks and currently ranks second in the NEC (1.13 per set). She added six kills.
