OPENING NOTES
- Seton Hall and Central Connecticut State will meet for only the fourth time in history on Friday. The Pirates have won all three of the prior meetings. This is the first game in seven years between the schools, only the second since 1990.
- Head Coach Way Veney continues her first season at the helm of the Blue Devils.
- Seton Hall is the only Big East team on Central's non-conference schedule this season.
- CCSU will have a 10-day break from gameplay before returning home to host Colgate on Dec. 18th for the 'Kids Day Out' game at 11:00 am.

- The Blue Devils are third in the league in defending the three and will be challenged by Seton Hall who comes in second in the Big East in 3PT FG% (.368).
- Meghan Kenefick is coming off a season-high in rebounds with 11 vs UAlbany Wednesday night, which bumped her to 5th in the NEC in rebounding (6.2pg). The senior ranks second in block shots per game in the NEC with 1.22. CCSU ranks third overall with 2.33 blocked shots per game.
- Samora Watson was named the Player of the Week last week for her career performance vs New Hampshire where she scored 38 points. She leads her squad averaging 15.3 points a game, which is good enough for second in the league.
- Central is second in the conference in free throw percentage shooting 74% from the charity stripe this season.
- Belle Lanpher leads the team (3rd in NEC) shooting just under 85% from the line. She comes off a season where she led the NEC and was ranked in the top 50 nationally in free throw shooting.
