2013 Cross Country: Competed in six of eight meets as a freshman for the Blue Devils...Made his cross country debut on Aug. 31 at the Father O'Neil Invitaional where he placed 22nd out of 39...Finished 27th out of 241 running in the JV NEICAAA New England Championships...Made his best finish of the year when in mattered most in the NEC Cross Country Championships on Nov. 2 where he finished 13th out of 72...Was tabbed NEC Rookie of the Week twice throughout the season, earning the honors in the week ending 9/24/13 and 10/29/13.
2013 Outdoor Track: Named to the Northeast Conference All-Rookie team...Had an impressive performance at the NEC Championships, placing ninth in both the 10,000m run and the 3,000m steeplechase with career-best times of 32:52.44 and 10:04.96, respectively...Best finish came at the AIC Yellow Jacket Invitational where he crossed the line sixth in the 5,000m with a time of 15:37.34...Placed eighth of 22 in the 5,000m at the Holy Cross Invitational with a time of 15:43.07...Raced a career-best 4:07.31 in the 1,500m at the UMASS Preconference meet on April 27 for 19th of 35...Was the first Blue Devil to cross the finish line (4:09.15) in his first outdoor appearance in the 1,500m at the UMASS Invitational, placed 22nd of 65.
