Men's Basketball Tips Off 2019-20 on Monday in Free Exhibition with Coast Guard
The Central Connecticut men's basketball team will open the 2019-20 season on Monday, with an exhibition game against Coast Guard Academy in Detrick Gymnasium. Gametime is set for 7:00 p.m. and admission is FREE and open to all fans.
The free exhibition game will be the first opportunity for fans to see the Blue Devils this season. Central begins its fourth season under head coach Donyell Marshall and will open the regular season on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at home against Hartford in a 7:00 p.m. tip off.

Senior Jamir Coleman is the top returning scorer (12.1 ppg) and rebounder (6.2 rpg) for the Blue Devils. Coleman ranked sixth in free throw shooting in the NEC (.843) and started 30 games. He posted five double-doubles for the season and scored a career-high 27 points at Robert Morris. Central also returns senior forward Donyell Marshall, Jr., and a trio of sophomores in Ian Krishnan, Thai Segwai and Karrington Wallace.
Central was tabbed 10th in the NEC Coaches' Preseason Poll announced at the league's "Social" Media Day on Oct. 23.
The Blue Devils open the regular season on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 7:00 p.m. against Hartford at Detrick Gymnasium. Tickets for regular season games available HERE.
