The Central Connecticut football team takes to the road to play LIU in a game that will air on ESPN3, with Paul Dottino and Matt Simms calling the action.

- Central Connecticut makes its second ESPN3 appearance of the season
- Nasir Smith had a career day in all facets of rushing against Wagner with 174 yards on 31 carries and three touchdowns. He earned NEC Prime Performer for the third straight game as a result

- Smith is on a pace to challenge the 1,000-yard mark for the season, a mark only 15 players have reached in CCSU history. His 726 yards, 90.8 per game, are first in the NEC and 24th in the FCS. He has 410 rushing yards in the past three games, with two 100+ efforts and is averaging 6.1 yards per carry on 67 rushes in those games. Smith has seven rushing TD's, first in the NEC, with five in the past three games.
- Jahlil Brown is tops in the NEC, 8th in the FCS, with his two fumble recoveries on the year. The Blue Devils have six players that have forced a fumble this season. In addition to his two fumble recoveries, Brown ranks second on the roster with 46 tackles, He has 168 career tackles, in 43 career games, with the Blue Devils, that includes a career-best 59 last season. Brown has 4.0 TFL, a QBH and a PBU as well.
