Roufs Wins Defensive Player of the Week
Sophomore Isabelle Roufs took home the title of Defensive Player of the Week after hosting a block party on the road. The sophomore recorded 10 total blocks over the Blue Devils' two road games this weekend.
In CCSU's 3-0 sweep over Merrimack, Roufs recorded two solo blocks on the Warriors.
The ball often found a way to Rouf's side of the court in the Blue Devils' game at Bryant, and Roufs often had an answer.
Roufs has anchored the shot-blocking side of the defense this year and leads the team with 64 total blocks.
Roufs had another solo block against the Bulldogs, but also recorded seven shared blocks, a team high, logging eight blocks on the day. This total paced both teams.
Roufs and the Blue Devils will play in their first home games of the season this weekend, taking on Fairleigh Dickinson and Saint Francis U on Friday and Saturday, Respectively.
