"We are pleased to announce that our relationship with these two
stations will continue for at least the next four years," Central
Connecticut Director of Athletics C.J. Jones said. "We have teamed
with ESPN Radio 1410 for the past 13 seasons, and we couldn't be
happier with the relationship we have had during that time. Last
season we added ESPN Radio 1300 in New Haven, and the feedback from
our fans was tremendous. We added another listening area for Blue
Devils fans to follow our team throughout the year, and now we are
proud to announce the continuation of our partnership with both
stations."
For the eighth straight season CCSU will also make its broadcasts
available online. Fans can log on to CCSUBlueDevils.com, the home
of Central Connecticut athletics on the web, to receive all of the
scheduled games for the 2009-10 season for football and basketball,
both home and away. Home games also feature live video, along with
the radio broadcast, through the school's official website.
"This is another proud day for us," Jones said. "We look forward
to continuing our relationship with both of these stations in the
future, and take great pride in bringing Blue Devil athletics to
our many alumni and fans throughout the state of Connecticut."
