Dana Wins Athlete of the Month Award
Senior runner Ashley Dana represented the Blue Devils in this week's Northeast Conference Awards, taking home Athlete of the Month honors.
Senior runner Ashley Dana represented the Blue Devils in this week's Northeast Conference Awards, taking home Athlete of the Month honors.
Dana was named Athlete of the Month thanks to an impressive showing in the Blue Devils first meet of the season at the Father Bede Invitational in Loretto, PA.
The senior finished first in the women's 5K with a time of 18:44.0. She crossed the finish line over six seconds before the second place runner.
Junior Brooke Morabito was also named a Prime Performer by the NEC. Morabito finished third in the women's 5K with a time of 18:55.6.
The women's cross country team will be back in action on Saturday, September 24th at the CCSU Ted Owen Invitational at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain.
