Dearborn Takes Third at Bison Outdoor Classic

Seniors Krisztina Dearborn and Elizabeth Eberhardt of the Central Connecticut women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Bison outdoor Classic on Saturday in Lewisburg, PA. The meet was held at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium on the campus Bucknell.

BISON OUTDOOR CLASSIC RESULTS

Krisztina Dearborn was sensational in the 10,000 meter run for CCSU on Saturday at the Bison Outdoor Classic. The senior earned a bronze medal in the event, turning in a ECAC qualifying time of 36:17.68. The veterans time was over a minute faster than the ECAC qualifying standard.

Classmate Elizabeth Eberhardt joined Dearborn at the meet, competing in the 1,500 meter run. Eberhardt recorded a 24th place finish out of 46 competitors with a new personal-best time of 4:40.30.

The Central women's outdoor track and field team will return to action next weekend at either the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton on April 17 and 18 or the Mark Young Invitational at Yale on April 18.
