Women's Soccer Announces 2013 Schedule
The Blue Devils will host their first of 10 home matches on Sept. 6 at 7 p.m.
Central Connecticut women's soccer Head Coach Mick D'Arcy has announced the fall 2013 women's soccer schedule, which includes 10 home games. The 18-game season will kick off with an away match at the University of Maine in Orono, ME on Aug. 27 and will continue through Nov. 3 against conference foe Wagner at home.
Four of this season's nine home games will be held on Friday nights under the lights of the CCSU Soccer Field: Sept. 6 vs. St. John's (N.Y), Sept. 13 vs. Army, Sept. 20 vs. Fairfield and Oct. 4 vs. Robert Morris.
The Blue Devils will also host two additional night games on Sunday, Sept. 29 vs. Harvard and Monday, Oct. 7 vs. Yale. The remaining four home games will be Sunday afternoon match ups: Sept. 15 vs. Siena, Oct. 13 vs. LIU Brooklyn, Oct. 20 vs. Saint Francis U. and Nov. 3 vs. Wagner.
The first of eight Northeast Conference contests will be the Oct. 4 home game against Robert Morris. In addition to hosting four NEC games, the Blue Devils will travel to Sacred Heart (Oct. 11), Fairleigh Dickinson (Oct. 25), Mount St. Mary's (Oct. 27) and Bryant (Nov. 1).
The 2013 NEC Championships are scheduled to be played at the home field of the highest seed team with the semifinals scheduled for Nov. 8 and the championship match on Nov. 10.
