Men's Cross Country Finishes Fourth at New England Championships

The men's cross country team finished fourth overall out of a field of 24 schools at the New England Championships Saturday. Freshman Colin Caso paced the team and finished ninth in the men's 8K race.

NOTES
- Caso led the charge for CCSU, finishing ninth overall in the men's 8K. The freshman had an average mile time of 5:02.4 and finished with a time of 25:03.5.
- The next Blue Devil to cross on Saturday was another freshman on the team. James Sullivan, who has had a fourth and eighth place finish already this season, finished 17th in the race with a time of 25:15.1.
- Junior Eddie Nicholas, who placed first in the Ted Owen Invitational earlier this season, rounded out the top three finishers for CCSU. Nicholas finished just outside the top 20 with a final time of 25.21.8.
- The Blue Devils were the highest placed Northeast Conference team at the race, beating out three other NEC schools.
