Three Blue Devils Compete at BU Last Chance Meet Sunday
ECAC qualifiers will compete at the IC4A/ECAC Championships on March 2-3 in Boston, MA.
Three Central Connecticut athletes from the women's indoor track and field team competed at the continued the indoor season at the Last Chance Meet hosted by Boston University on Sunday, the final day of the season for athletes to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
Senior McKenna Kilian came in second in the women's high jump with a leap of 1.62 meters, close to breaking her collegiate best of 1.64 meters. She also competed in the long jump earning a fifth-place finish after posting 5.58 meters.
Junior Kadizha Benjamin competed with Kilian in the high jump with a jump of 1.52 meters finishing in sixth place.
Classmate Megan Brawner was the third member of CCSU's women's indoor track and field team to compete in the meet. She ran in the women's 800-meter run recording a time of 2:14.20 to finish 16th.
Central will send its ECAC qualifiers to the IC4A/ECAC Championships on March 2-3 back at the Boston U. Track and Tennis Center.
