Jason Marshall begins his seventh season as an assistant coach on the staff at Central Connecticut State University. He primarily works with CCSU's perimeter players and assists in recruiting efforts. Prior to CCSU, Marshall most recently coached at Binghamton and also has Division I experience at Army.

“We are really excited to have Jason join our Blue Devil staff,” said Piper on Marshall.  “He is young and will bring a lot of energy to our program.  Jason has experience working at the Division I level and understands what is needed to win.”

In 2013-14, Marshall was an assistant coach at Binghamton where he was coached the perimeter players and developed offensive schemes.  Off the court he was the contact person for scheduling and recruiting in the states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

A 2008 graduate of Ramapo College, Marshall immediately jumped into collegiate coaching, starting at Army in the Fall of 2008.  He spent five seasons on the sidelines at West Point where he helped eight student-athletes earn end of the year honors from the Patriot League.

His off the court responsibilities at Army included coordinating team travel and overseeing film exchange.  Marshall was also the director of the United States Military Academy Girls Basketball Camp during his time at West Point.

The Black Knights also earned the NCAA Public Recognition Award for APR score in 2009 and 2010.

As a student-athlete at Ramapo, Marshall was a two-time team captain and helped the Roadrunners to a pair of New Jersey Athletic Conference titles in 2005 and 2007.  The Ramapo teams also reached the NCAA Division III Sweet 16 in 2005 and second round in 2007.  Marshall also earned his team’s most improved award for the 2006-07 season.

Marshall is also a member of the Women’s Basketball Coaching Association (WBCA), Black Coaches and Administrators (BCA) and New York Basketball Coaches Association.
