The Central Connecticut men's cross country team shaved 381 points off last year's score to take 13th at the NCAA Northeast Regional on Friday at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, NY. Sam Whittaker and James Sullivan led the Blue Devils runners on the 10k course.

Sam Whittaker placed just outside of the top 50 with a 30:45.0 finish. Sullivan was right behind Whittaker with a time of 30:50.1 and one of four Blue Devils with a top-100 finish.

The Blue Devil pack of Aidan Budge (31:16.0; 95th), Yankarlos Diaz (31:19.0; 97th), and Eddie Nicholas (31:33.7; 109th) were key in the helped produce the low score of 425 and a 13th place finish.
