Bio

Graduated with the all-time scoring record, having scored 22 career touchdowns from 1978-81. Led the Blue Devils in rushing in 1979 (624 yards) and 1981 (586 yards). Team captain as a senior. Averaged 4.8 yards per carry and had a career rushing total of 1,598 yards which was sixth-best in school history when he finished his playing career. Lled the team in scoring with 51 points in 1981 and 44 points in 1979. An All-New England First Team Offense selection in 1981, an AP Honorable All-New England pick (1981) and a three-time All-ECAC honoree (1979-81). Honored with the Michael Knapp Award for Outstanding Performance and Leadership in football. Signed professional contracts with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots of the NFL and the New Orleans Breakers in the USFL. He spent 22 1/2 years with the West Hartford Police Department before retiring in 2016.
