Bio

Stephen Villanti retired from Central Connecticut after three decades of service, in June 2023. He remains active on behalf of Blue Devils athletics assisting with athletic development and fundraising and corporate sponsorships and marketing.

During his time as an athletic adminsitrator, Villanti oversaw the football and men's soccer programs was responsible for all special events within the athletic department. He also served as the chairperson of the NEC Sports Management Committee.

Villanti, a four-year letterman on the football team at Syracuse University, holds a Master of Arts degree as well as a Master's of Business Administration.

Prior to his position as the Associate Athletic Director, Villanti served as the Associate Head Football Coach/Offensive Coordinator for the CCSU football team.
