Volleyball Ends Weekend With a Win
Volleyball finished up the Desmond Siena Invitational with a 3-1 win on Saturday over host Siena. The Blue Devils had four players with double-digit kills. Nyjha Marcelin and Ashlyn Eisenga were both named to the All-Tournament Team.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Blue Devils opened the match with a commanding 9-2 lead over the Saints and led for most of the first set. Siena fought back and tied the game up at 23 before taking the set 29-27. Senior Emma Henderson led CCSU with six kills in the set.
- Central trailed for most of the second set, but sprung back with a 5-0 lead that tied things at 20. The Blue Devils who led the game in kills, Marcelin, Henderson and Isabelle Roufs, scored the last three kills for CCSU, taking the set 26-24.
- CCSU took the lead in the third set and never looked back. Marcelin and Roufs each had fives kills for Central as the Blue Devils took the third 25-16.
- The Blue Devil offense was still clicking in the fourth set as Marcelin and freshman Lauren Milani each scored five kills. CCSU narrowly edged out the Saints, 27-25, securing a match win.

8 Roufs had a game-high eight blocks against Siena, her highest total of the season to this point.
