The Central Connecticut women's outdoor track team tallied 88 and the women tallied 88 points to place fourth in the Holy Cross Invitational.
TRACK HIGHLIGHTS
- Brooke Morabito took home first place in the 1500m run for The Blue Devils with a time of 4:35.67.
- Nuchwara Inthasit notched a collegiate-best time (12.47) and a sixth-place finish in the 100m dash.
- Adriana Brathwaite placed second in the 200m dash with a time of 25.45.
- Alyssa Carusone placed seventh after running the 5000m in 19:51.45 and Hazel Hudson finished right behind her in eighth place (19:59.80).
- Taina DeJesus placed third in the 400mH with a time of 1:06.71.
- Maegan Desmarais finished in second place after running the 2000m steeplechase in 7:06.40.
- The 4x100m relay team consisting of Aaliyah Walker, Adriana Brathwaite, Taina DeJesus, Nuchwara Inthasit placed fifth with a time of 49.24.
- The 4x400m relay team consisting of Kayla Logan, Adriana Brathwaite, Taina DeJesus, Nuchwara Inthasit also placed fifth with a time of 4:07.79.
FIELD HIGHLIGHTS
- Sarah Ovesny placed seventh (45.32m) in the Hammer Throw.
- Marina Perry placed second in the shot put with a collegiate-best 12.95m throw. She also placed fourth in the hammer throw with a collegiate-best 46.29m throw.
- Wenesha Stewart placed sixth with a 12.25m throw in the shot put. She also placed fourth in the discus with a collegiate-best mark of 40.15m.
- Payton Lowe placed seventh in the discus with a 37.33m mark.
- Aaliyah Walker and Erin Egan placed eighth (5.26m) and ninth (5.26m) in the long jump.
