Covello and Inzerillo Score in Central's 2-1 Win Over Maine
Central hosts Connecticut on Thursday at 7 p.m. in New Britain.
The Central Connecticut women's soccer team defeated Maine 2-1 on Thursday night in New Britain. Sophomore Jenna Rae Covello scored in the first half to give CCSU an early lead. The Black Bears responded with a goal in the second half to even the game 1-1. Rookie Giavanna Inzerillo headed the game-winner off a corner kick from junior Erica Bardes.
