Cross Country Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

Both the men's and women's Central Connecticut cross country teams were honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their outstanding work in the classroom. The men's cross country team posted a cumulative 3.4 team GPA during the fall semester. The women posted a cumulative 3.33 GPA.

The Blue Devils were champions at the 2023 Northeast Conference Championship and had five runners earn All-NEC honors. The women finished as runners-up in the NEC Championship.

There were over 200 different programs named All-Academic Teams for their efforts during the 2023 season. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
