Men's Basketball Closes Strong for NEC Win at St. Francis Brooklyn, 67-55
The Central Connecticut men's basketball shutdown St. Francis Brooklyn in Northeast Conference action, winning 67-55 on Saturday in Brooklyn, NY. The Blue Devils erased a double-digit deficit in the second half, holding SFBK scoreless for nearly eight minutes to ultimately win the game by double-figures.
Freshman Andre Snoddy notched a career-high 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while junior Ian Krishnan added 14 points as well. Freshmen Davonte Sweatman and Trenton McLaughlin each added 11 points. Central shot 24-of-46 (.522) overall and was 4-of-14 (.286) on three-pointers. The Blue Devils shot 16-of-21 (.714) at the foul line.
Tedrick Wilcox, Jr. with 25 points, hitting five three-pointers. The Terriers shot 21-of-50 (.420) overall and 8-of-25 (.320) from the arc. St. Francis was 5-of-6 (.833) at the foul line, but did not get to the line in the second half.

- The Terriers scored eight straight points after CCSU opened the game's scoring. St. Francis Brooklyn would use an 11-2 run to build an early lead before the first timeout of the game. Central would respond with a 11-2 run to take a lead just over eight minutes into the game following two foul shots by freshman Andre Snoddy.
