Volleyball Earns USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award
The Central Connecticut volleyball team was recognized with the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award for the 2021-22 season it was announced by the organization on Monday. The Blue Devils have achieved the team academic honor for 16 consecutive seasons, which is the sixth-longest active streak in Division I.

The United States Marine Corps and the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced that more than 1,200 collegiate and high school volleyball teams earned the award. The Blue Devils had 14 student-athletes named to the Northeast Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll, including 10 named to the NEC Commissioner's Honor Roll for a 3.75+ GPA. Natalie Novak was recognized with the Northeast Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year award after graduating with a 4.0 GPA in Exercise Science this spring.
